Principal's Weekly Message
A message from Principal Edward Owusu
Clarksburg High School Students, Staff, and Families,
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads and father figures out there!! Enjoy the day. Also Juneteenth is this Monday, June 20. This day is recognized as the end date of slavery across the US. All MCPS buildings and offices will be closed. During the summer, our Clarksburg Main Office and Counseling Offices will be open from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm.
As the last day of school for the 2021-2022 academic year has concluded I would like to thank you, our students, staff, and families, for your perseverance, trust, and optimism, as well as achievements. It's no secret that in every school in every community across the United States there have been challenges this year. And the challenges have been significant. At CHS I know many have struggled. I appreciate the fact that those struggles were compounded by exterior forces outside anyone's control. I also know that those individuals, and many more rose through those challenges and have done amazing things, learning from those challenges. As we go into the summer and new year, I want to wish all of you safety and fun. Go enjoy yourself this summer, relax, and laugh a lot, and smile even more. We will see you in the new academic year.

As always, thank you for your continued support and trust. And remember, together we are Clarksburg!
