MCPS is also inviting students, parents and staff to submit their favorite graduation snapshots. Families should select the best graduation photo and email it to pio@mcpsmd.org. Many of the pictures will be posted on the MCPS website. Families and staff also can submit photos via Twitter (using the hashtag #mcpsgrad). To contribute a photo via email, follow these simple steps:
- Choose your best, horizontal snapshot.
- Send the photo as a jpeg file (no larger than 4 MB) and email it to pio@mcpsmd.org.
- Include the school name.
Tuesday the Junior Class of 2023 will assume the leadership mantle and many of the juniors will participate in a long time CHS tradition affectionately called the Senior Storm!
Wednesday we welcome the incoming Class of 2026. 8th grade students from Rocky Hill and Hallie Wells Middle Schools will visit at CHS for a short time to engage in some team bonding and hear expectations before the summer break.
Friday we celebrate our underclass students in grades 9-11 with a recognition ceremony of academic achievement, followed by a staff versus student basketball game at the end of the day.
The summer leaning slide is a real thing. Check out the Summer Assignments tab on the CHS Website. This information includes summer reading assignments as well as preparation activities for advanced courses in the coming academic year.
In this newsletter you will find information about Girls Talk Math; National Recognition via College Board; Hallie Wells Reunion; Clothing Recycling, and more.
