Attention all Wootton students!! As part of the SGA’s Respect Friday Fun Day this week SGA will hold an Ugly Winter Sweater Day contest! Wear your ugly sweater to the lunch activity in the Commons and we will award prizes!! See you on Friday!

Attention Seniors – We are now accepting Parking Permit applications for the spring semester. Please visit the Wootton Online Store for details and the link for the online application. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 15th.

The Wootton Jazz Band performed at the MCPS Big Band Festival on Saturday, December 14 at Sherwood High School. The Jazz Band earned superior ratings with judge’s comments such as “Superior Performance,” “Wow,” and “Excellent soloists.” In addition, Jehoon Seo won the 1st annual Chris Vadala Overalll Soloist, competing against 20 soloists from schools as Churchill, Blake, BCC, and Richard Montgomery and Simon Glueck won Wootton’s individual soloist award. Congratulations to the Jazz Band, Jehoon and Simon.

Any student who did not make the November 11 deadline to order their AP exam can order an exam with a $40.00 late fee. Please see Ms. Carr or Mr. Mamana about late registration.

Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30pm to 4:00 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits.
Please see Mr. Steinbach in Room 169 if you are interested or have any questions. Regardless, feel free to just stop by any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon.
