 Do you love poetry? Do you like performing? Participate in this year’s Poetry Out Loud competition; all you need to do is memorize a poem from the Poetry Out Loud archive and bring it to life through a dramatic recital. Come to Mr. Hardy’s room 253 on Tuesday, November 21^st for a brief informational meeting, or pick up an information slip from the folder on Mr. Hardy’s door room 253. The underclassmen competition is on December 4^th and the upperclassmen competition is on December 5^th.

Thanksgiving is nearly upon us and it is a good time for us to reflect as a school community and as individuals what we are thankful for. Stop by the commons on Monday or Tuesday next week during lunch and contribute to the Wootton Wall of Thanks organized by the Sources of Strength student group.

There will be a meeting for students interested in entering the science fair on Tuesday, November 21 in room 208 at lunch.  Ms. Adler will go over the procedures and paperwork needed to enter the fair.

Attention Wootton students and staff: You are invited to join the 4^th Annual Black History Month Celebration and Program. Our first planning meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 21^st at 2:45 PM in room 152. Come with questions and suggestions as we plan for this spectacular event!
