Clarksburg High School Students, Staff, and Families,
Halloween signals the end of October, our CHStage Fall Play (The Play That Goes Wrong), and also the end of the Marking Period 1 is 5 days away. Students should please make every effort to check in with teachers regarding outstanding work that may be made up. The last day approved work may be submitted is Friday, November 4 by 5 PM. Teachers will provide Sign Up Genius links for Parent-Teachers Conferences at the end of the week. (Please click this link to see our weekly newsletter.)
We are proud to host the US Navy Promotional Tour this Monday. The event will take place in front of our school. The school bus parking lot will be affected during the day and most especially in the afternoon. Please see MAP here. Additionally no cars will be permitted on Wims Road from 1:45 - 2:45. As a reminder car pick up and drop off is on Foreman Boulevard.
As the holidays approach there are families who may struggle with this special time in the year. Please check out the information about our Holiday Giving Project within the newsletter.
Registration for Winter Sports has begun. Registration occurs via ParentVUE. Parents and Caregivers can register students for the following sports: Basketball, Bocce, Cheerleading, Indoor Track, Poms, Swim & Dive and Wrestling. Tryouts start November 15th.
AP Exam Registration and Payment information have been sent to families. The opportunity to earn college credit in an AP course is acquired by taking the AP exam associated with the course and is dependent on the AP exam score and specific college requirements. Exams for AP courses will occur during the first two weeks of May 2023. More information is available in this newsletter.
