So when you're ready to exercise your "mathematical muscles," you'll want to check out the following sites (all external to the MCPS site). They're chock full of good exercises to check for understanding, and stretch your background knowledge. Check 'em out!
- Math League Help -- Here's a site from the (you guessed it) Math League, filled with topics from whole numbers to decimals to proportions
- Word Problems -- Here's a site from our Canadian friends with word problems for students in grades 5-12.
- Fact Monster -- While the name might be scary, the site is not. It deals with math, money, measurement, formulas, and more.
- Math.com -- This site deals with fractions, integers, inequalities, and percents.
- AAA Math -- This site is in English, with a link to its Spanish sister site, and is for students K-8.
- A Plus Math -- This site has a game room, flashcards, worksheets, and more.
- Math2.org -- This site is filled with math reference tables, a board, and plenty of links to other math sites. It also has a Spanish version.
