Melanie Pique
Assistant Principal
Ms. Pique is beginning her 10th year as an assistant principal at Baker Middle School and her 24th year as an educator in MCPS. This year, she is the administrator for the 8th grade class.
She has 6 children ranging from ages 15 - 26, 4 dogs, and a small farm with horses, sheep, goats, bunnies, cats, and donkeys!
Ms. Pique enjoys working with middle school students because this is such a pivotal time in their development as adolescents, especially with regards to their social/emotional growth.
