SAT Fall Administration Update

MCPS and College Board are moving forward with plans for offering the SAT to registered students on September 26 and October 3 at select MCPS test centers, including Walter Johnson High School. For students not already registered, registration for October 3 remains open until September 22 here. To limit group sizes, additional test centers have been added to spread out students, which may result in students being assigned to a different test center nearby. Non-standard testing for students with approved accommodations will also be offered.

These testing details, along with details for testing day and health/safety requirements, will be communicated directly by the College Board to the email address that was used for student registration as well as posted on the Walter Johnson website. Be on the lookout for these emails from the College Board and continue checking the WJ website.

Contacting Staff at Walter Johnson

Walter Johnson has a new phone number, it is 240-740-6900. Phone mesages are checked a few times daily and shared with staff that can best assist the request of the caller. While it is our goal to respond to all communication within 24 hours there are times when it will take longer to respond but usually it will not take more than 48 hours to respond to a request. Email is still the best way to get in touch with your childs teacher or counselor especially since staff has not returned to the building. Please use the staff directory tab on the left quick links menu to find all WJ staff email addresses. We are here to serve our WJ community!
