Financial Aid Information & Resources:
COVID-19 update: Visit the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) website and the websites for the colleges you are applying to for financial aid updates and deadline extensions as a result of COVID-19.
- The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (The FAFSA). Access the FAFSA application and obtain information on each step needed to complete the process from the studentaid.gov web site.
- The Maryland Higher Education Commission website has information on Maryland aid (including accepting aid with the MD CAPS account), information on the Pell Grant, Guaranteed Access Grant, state scholarships, and the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship Program.

NEW: COLLEGE REP. VIRTUAL VISITS
College visits this year will be held virtually. We want to make sure you don’t miss out. Students can access the college virtual visits in their Naviance Student Account. Check back often as colleges are continually added.
To access Virtual College Visits:
· Log into your Student Naviance account
· Click on “Colleges” tab in upper top right corner
· Click on “Colleges” HOME
· Scroll down to the bottom of the screen where you will see “College Visits”. You may click on the visit you’re interested in or click the “SHOW MORE” link to view additional visits.
· You MUST select “Register Now” for those you would like to attend – to save your spot
· The virtual visit event link will be available 24 hours prior to the start of the event.

NACAC(National Association for College Admission Counseling) will be sponsoring a virtual College Fair on March 21st. The Fair will take place from 1:00pm-7:00pm.
