Keep your historical thinking skills up over the summer break to get a jumpstart on the new school year by reading novels from your local library! You may click this link to the voluntary (optional but highly recommended) summer reading for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in Social Studies Humanities. The novels in sixth and seventh grade will be taught first quarter while the NHD for seventh grade will be implemented first semester. Eighth graders will have an opportunity to gain background knowledge that will be facilitated first quarter.  At Frost, we want all students to see how reading can be engaging and valuable in understanding the world around us.
