Back to School Night

This Thursday, September 23rd @ 7pm is the RFMS Back to School Night! Back-to-School Night is an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet their children’s teachers and learn about the course content and concepts their children will be studying in each of their classes. NEW DATE - School Picture Day

School Picture Day is rescheduled to October 29th during PE classes. You can order pictures on-line at or use the flyer given out in homeroom. Additional flyers are available in the main office. Please note, all online orders will transfer to the New Picture Day Event automatically.

Math Team Tryouts!

Attention Super Awesome Math Students!!! The RFMS Math Team Wants You to Come Tryout for the Team! When: October 6th 3:15-4:15 p.m. Where: RFMS Media Center What do I need? A pencil and a basic calculator (no TI’s or fancy ones) Transportation: The Activity Bus will be available to take you home *This is the only opportunity to tryout for the team, there will be no make-up opportunities

MCPS Start of School Year Forms

Welcome to a new school year! In the past, yellow emergency cards and a variety of other forms were sent home with students on the first day of school so that families could communicate updates about contact information, health, directory withholdings, emergency contacts, and more. This process will now take place in ParentVUE using Online Registration. Click here for directions to update these forms.

New Student Orientation
