Dismissal Procedures

There are four ways a scholar can be dismissed from Lakewood:

Bar-T - Scholar is picked up from their classroom and walked to Bar-T by a staff member.
Bus rider - Teacher dismisses scholars when bus arrives. Scholars leave the school from the main door and walk to the waiting bus.
Car Rider - Scholars are called down to the Gym where they lineup by grade level. When their car arrives, a staff member uses a walkie-talkie to call into the Gym and the scholar comes out the Gym entrance to the waiting car. Drivers stay in the car.

Please have this sign in your car window to help facilitate a quick and easy car dismissal

You may park your car and meet your child at the front entrance and then escort them to your car. If you do this, your child is a walker and not a car rider.
