These updates are typically distributed via ConnectEd messages on Sundays. Please contact the school about setting up your ParentVUE account if you are not currently receiving them.

  • Help Wanted - Classroom Monitors: As we prepare for our return to an in-person learning experience, we anticipate a need for adults to support the supervision of students.  If you know any adults with a high school diploma/GED who would be interested in monitoring students at $15.72 per hour, please encourage them to apply to be considered for the position of classroom monitor. Duties include monitoring classrooms for teachers who are providing virtual instruction to students in the building and supporting in-person teachers.  Interested individuals need to apply on  https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/careers/ . We may need classroom monitors at our school; however, we cannot guarantee our site would be the location all interested individuals would be assigned to work.

  • Piano Sale: MCPS has a business partnership with Schaeffer’s Piano Company, Inc., where they provide 15 grand, upright, and digital loaner pianos to MCPS at no cost.  MCPS provides maintenance for the instruments and informs our students, parents, and guardians of the partnership. Schaeffer’s Piano Company, Inc., has a public sale of instruments twice a year—the second sale is scheduled for February 2021—where the public can purchase pianos at reduced prices.  Our partnership with Schaeffer’s Piano Company, Inc., commits MCPS to provide the notice of this sale to each student. Please click here for more information about this upcoming sale.

Important Note: Many of the links below will require students to log in using their MCPS Google Account. The username is the same 6-digit number used in school to log in to a Chromebook. However, you need to add "@mcpsmd.net" to it. (Example: 123456@mcpsmd.net). The password is the same letters used to log in to a school Chromebook. If you need any help with this, please email our Media Specialist, Mrs. Hines, at Bonnie_W_Hines@mcpsmd.org
