Clarksburg High School Students, Staff, and Families,

Wishing a very happy Diwali to you and your family. See the video below to learn more about Diwali.

As a Principal, navigating issues that impact schools can take many forms when they occur within the school, our community, nation, or world. This past week was no different in regards to student led protests. Remaining bystanders or ignoring these issues, however, is not an option. Our students are moving forward with, or without us. Many are directly impacted and others are trying to grapple with what they see on social media and in the news. All of this impacts our school community, and in our richly diverse high school, students and staff demand action. Check out this resource to educate yourself about the history of Israel/Palestine - https://www.forcriticalthinkers.com/the-videos.

Winter Sports start this week and its not too late to register! Check out this link HERE. In this Sunday's message is: new College and Career Coordinator, Diwali celebration, CHS Ambassador Thanksgiving Donation, Native American Heritage Month, COVID 19 Test Kits, Culture of Respect and more.

Please be sure to check student attendance, as that can be a marker for success or disappointment. Reminder to check grades online via ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Check out the Week At A Glance and news below!
