Summer RISE

Student registration for the 2024 Summer RISE program will close on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

No late registrations will be accepted past the deadline and there will not be a waitlist for students that did not complete the necessary steps to be considered for an opportunity. 

Summer RISE is an initiative in collaboration with businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations to offer sophomores and juniors an opportunity to participate in career-based learning during the summer. Students are matched with industry professionals with the goal of informing future college or career decisions, developing professional and technical skills needed for the workplace, and gaining hands-on experience

The Summer RISE program runs for 5 weeks between Monday, June 24, 2024 and Friday July 26, 2024. Students will complete a minimum of 50 hours with their Host of either in-person, virtual or a combination of the two experiences. Students that participate are expected to be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. for the duration of the program. Specific schedules are determined by the student’s host organization.
