 Mission

The mission of the Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School Counseling Department is to inspire all students to reach their full potential through academic, college and career, and social/emotional development and, in doing so, become successful college and career-ready world-class citizens. All students will have equitable access to the school counseling program, which provides developmentally appropriate activities including individual and small-group counseling and school counseling curriculum lessons. School counselors at Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School advocate for equity and access to challenging coursework, enrichment opportunities, differentiated instruction, and support services, as well as integrity, justice, and respect for all.

 VISION

The vision of the Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School counseling program is for all students to thrive in any learning environment. They will be independent, motivated, and creative problem solvers. Our students will persevere in the face of adversity, and demonstrate empathy and respect differences. Our students will be contributing members of society, and have the postsecondary skills necessary to be successful in an advancing global workforce.
