MARYLAND HISPANIC YOUTH SYMPOSIUM

www.hispanicyouth.org

This is a wonderful experience for Hispanic High Schoolers to experience living on a college campus for four days during the summer, and to compete for scholarships.  In the past students have really benefited from meeting new friends from across the state, and have become very motivated to attend college and graduate high school.

The application deadline is February 15th; The challenge we have faced in the past is getting students to complete their essay before the deadline. We encourage students to work on their essay ASAP.

The Maryland Hispanic Youth Symposium will be held this summer at Towson University in Baltimore from July 9th to 12th, 2008.
