MCPS BCC & WJ Cluster Capacity Study New Potential Sites Survey
It is strongly recommended to review the report prior to beginning the survey.
Please note, the school design options represent the architect’s initial approach and should a site be selected, a full community engagement process will take place prior to the formal building design and construction. A combined BCC/WJ cluster community meeting will be held on February 18th, 7:00pm at North Bethesda Middle School to discuss the site presentation and survey.
Survey will be available only from February 4, 2020 until February 25, 2020.

- Survey of 13 schools relative to current use and capacity
- Options for expansion as appropriate
Capacity Analysis Scope Does Not Include:
- Re-evaluation of projections

Evaluation of Potential New Sites:
- Will follow MCPS CIP Guidelines
- Factors for evaluation include:
- Geographic location relative to student population
- Acreage
- Physical condition
- Environmental characteristics
- Utilities
- Acquisition options
- Cost evaluation
