Cohort Inspire is for current and aspiring school leaders interested in leading in high impact schools (or leaders already working in high impact schools). In an effort to develop and retain talented school leaders working in high impact schools we have created a dynamic leadership development opportunity for MCPS leaders to engage in learning opportunities that will expand their leadership skills needed to be successful in high impact schools. The approach focuses on developing and sustaining effective leaders by providing a comprehensive self-assessment, best practice research, as well as personalized coaching and monthly cohort learning opportunities. The cohort will be facilitated by both internal and external experts in the field and will include sequential reflective exercises that enhance the monthly cohort learning opportunities.
The role of a leader is rewarding and challenging at the same time. It is our goal with this cohort to inspire leaders and provide them support to be the impactful leaders they can be while leading in high impact schools. And, we also hope that with this support leaders will be more inspired to commit to work in high impact schools and stay there for a very long time!
