Identified as a site with minimal stormwater management, the Lynbrook site was considered by the Purple Line as one of many possible off-site stormwater management locations. Although the Maryland Transit Administration did not select the Lynbrook site for use, MCPS acknowledged that work was required to remediate the run-off issues. As a strategy to achieve stormwater management goals for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase HS project, Lynbrook was reviewed by the project civil engineers.
The adjoining property is owned by Montgomery Parks.
