Technology Vision
Wyngate sees the use of technology as a tool to extend, enrich, and support Montgomery County Public School curriculum. This philosophy will guide our purchasing, training, placement, and utilization of hardware and software.
Students will be encouraged to become lifetime users of technology. They will conduct research using multi-media technology to include the Internet, software, Google Apps. The computer will become an integral part of the writing process as students are encouraged to compose and revise their work on the computer. Technology will be used to develop thinking strategies through problem solving and reinforce skills through drill and practice activities.
Teachers will have the opportunity to use telecommunications to network with colleagues to share lesson plans and mutual concerns, keep records, pursue professional development opportunities, implement general research, and to write and publish in a variety of media.
