Seniors, are you proficient in a language in addition to English?  You may be eligible to earn the Maryland State Seal of Biliteracy -- a diploma add-on which attests that you are in effect bilingual.  One way to earn it is to take an in-school test which will be given on October 15.  If you are listed with MCPS as having a home language other than English and if that language is one of the many to be tested on October 15, you will have received a letter inviting you to register for the test.  If you feel you are sufficiently proficient in the language, please make sure to register for the test prior to October 8.  If you did not receive a letter and you think you may be eligible, please see Mr. DeRosa in 266 for details by October 5th.
