Wootton Science Honor Society will be hosting a fundraiser today at the Fallsgrove Chipotle from 5pm to 9pm.  All proceeds go to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.  Come out to support and make sure to mention Wootton SNHS.

The Wootton Store will be open THIS Friday, Nov. 22nd during lunch.  Please stop by for your spirit wear!  Taking orders for sizes not currently available and/or special sizes needed.  Orders will arrive in two weeks.  Long sleeve t-shirt hoodies, hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants and PJ bottoms all to keep you warm!  All OLD Wootton t-shirts designs will be sold at a discounted rate of 10%.  Staff…don’t forget about your staff discount!  Parents – start placing orders for holiday gifts for your students!  Additional sales opportunities to be announced!  Cash, Checks, Credit Cards accepted.  GOING LIVE THIS WEEK – OUR NEW WOOTTON PATRIOTS ONLINE POP-UP STORE!!!  WEBSITE LINK AND FIRST POP UP SALE TO BE ANNOUNCED LATER THIS WEEK!!!  Be listening to the announcements, reading the PTSA eMail Blasts and looking for posters in the Commons and hallways at Wootton!!!  Lots of NEW merchandise and designs to choose from!  Also, the ONLINE POP-UP STORE will be offering YOUTH sizes for certain merchandise pieces!!!  Don’t miss out!!

The Interact Club is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive this week for -perishables and other canned food items.  Please drop off donations in the box located in the Main Office and come to the meeting this Wednesday during lunch in Room 254 for information about SSL opportunities.

Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30pm to 4:00 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.  Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits.

 

Please see Mr. Steinbach in Room 169 if you are interested or have any questions.  Regardless, feel free to just stop by any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon.

Wootton Helping Hands is conducting a Winter Clothing and Canned Food Drive!  Donations can be dropped off in the boxes in from of Room 15.  All donations will be directly going to South Lake Elementary School and MCCH, and all contributions will be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, please contact the Wootton Helping Hands email or Mrs. Hanson.

The Wellness Warriors are sponsoring a food drive to benefit Bethesda Cares. Items needed are: canned food, boxed food, bottled water, instant oatmeal, granola bars, and any other non-perishable items. Please bring in what you can to help others in need! Food drive items can be dropped off in the front of the Media Center. Thank you for your help!

Dual Enrollment Student Information Session

 

Dear Students,

          If you are in 11th grade and want to learn more about the Dual Enrollment Program, please come to our first Informational Meeting Session next week. Information below.

 

Student’s this meeting will give you more information about the Dual Enrollment Program and help you plan out your schedule for the next school year.  Please plan to attend the appropriate meeting during your lunch period next week, as listed below. I look forward to meeting you!

 

At the meeting you can look forward to:

  • Learning about the Dual Enrollment Program and how it can fit into your personal schedule
  • Hearing from current DE students about their experiences
  • Asking any questions, you have about the program.
