    The Wootton Jazz Band performed at the MCPS Big Band Festival on Saturday, December 14 at Sherwood High School.  The Jazz Band earned superior ratings with judge’s comments such as “Superior Performance,” “Wow,” and “Excellent soloists.”  In addition, Jehoon Seo won the 1st annual Chris Vadala Most Outstanding Soloist, competing against 20 soloists from schools as Churchill, Blake, BCC, and Richard Montgomery.  Congratulations to the Jazz Band and Jehoon.

    Any student who did not make the November 11 deadline to order their AP exam can order an exam with a $40.00 late fee. Please see Ms. Carr or Mr. Mamana about late registration.

    Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30pm to 4:00 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.  Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits.

     

    Please see Mr. Steinbach in Room 169 if you are interested or have any questions.  Regardless, feel free to just stop by any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon.

    Tis the season and TODAY is our annual UGLY SWEATER DAY and our first annual door decorating contest during Patriot Time! Plan your seasonal door design with your 2nd period class and bring supplies like wrapping paper, cut out letters, snowflakes, etc. There are prizes for the top three classes and a prize for the teacher of the class too!

    Attention Wootton students!  This Friday, December 20th SGA will be running winter holiday games in the commons during lunch!  There will be prizes awarded – come and have fun with your friends!
