MAP Testing Continues:

Please be reminded that MAP-R testing will continue on Wednesday, October 7th from 9:00 to 11:15.   Please remind your students to report to their homeroom on Wednesday..

Here is a link to the MAP administration letter sent out last week.

Please be reminded of the following regarding MAP Testing:

  • This test is a Maryland State Department of Education requirement for all students in K-12 this year.
  • MAP testing sessions are NOT being recorded;
  • All students must have their cameras on (and their microphones muted) for the test so that proctors are able to actively monitor student testing.  As such, students must use a device with a camera to take the test.  School-issued Chromebooks work and are the preferred device.  To check to see if your device meets all requirements, use that device to access this Workstation Diagnostic Tool.

Updating Annual Verification in Parent VUE:

Thank you to those of you have already set up the new Parent VUE account and completed the Annual Verification of contact information. If you need help setting up your account, please contact Wootton’s main office at 240-740-1500 from 8:00 - 3:30 Monday through Friday.

The Annual Verification is available under the “Online Registration” button in Parent VUE. The Annual Verification replaces the hard copies of the Emergency Forms that have been sent home in past years. Completion of this task ensures we have your most up-to-date contact and emergency information.
