We are very excited to welcome our Group A (Last Name: A-K) 9th-12th grade students back to school on Monday, April 19th!  For those students who are returning, you will receive a separate email with important reminders regarding the return. We know that for some of our students, this will be the first time they are entering Wootton.  Rest assured that our staff and our Patriot Ambassadors are ready to assist next week as students navigate the building!

It is important that we have the most accurate information regarding your return preferences.   If you would like to change your preference (for example, your student requested in-person but now will remain virtual OR your student requested virtual and now would like to be included on the waitlist to return), we ask that you complete Request to Change Learning Environment (Spring 2021)

Senior Parents/Guardians:  Graduation is scheduled for Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 9:00 am in Wootton’s stadium.  All senior families have received a graduation survey to indicate preference to participate in the in-person or virtual ceremony.   We ask that all families complete this survey by Monday, April 26th for our planning purposes.

Virtual RespectFest Event to Discuss Teen Dating Violence and Prevention (English)

Choose Respect Montgomery's annual event, RespectFest, is going virtual this year. Students and parents are invited to learn about dating violence and prevention, win prizes, take a yoga class, and earn up to five Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. The festival, which runs from April 18-23, is free.

There will be workshops and activities for middle and high school students, parents and youth-service providers. In addition, the winners of the annual Choose Respect Video Contest will be announced. All MCPS secondary students are eligible to vote for their favorite Choose Respect video here before Thursday, April 22.

One in three teens in the U.S. is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner; this number far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence. Nearly 1.5 million high school students nationwide experience physical abuse from a dating partner in a single year.

The kickoff event for this year’s RespectFest will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 18. For more information and to register, visit the website.
