Mrs. Jennifer Espinoza

 Visual Arts Teacher

I'm Mrs. Espinoza, and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade studio art classes. I grew up in Montgomery County and even attended Wood when I was young. I have a B.A. from the University of Maryland in art education. I received my M.Ed. from Trinity Washington University in curriculum and instruction focusing on diversity and social justice. I also teach arts integration classes at Montgomery College.

In my spare time, I like to make artwork, see live music, read, cook, watch movies, and go for walks. I enjoy exploring other cultures and have traveled to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and many countries in Europe. My husband and two daughters are also talented in the arts. Our family enjoys going to museums and soccer games together. I am so happy to be working in my home community. I look forward to many years with our talented artists at Wood!
