 Prospective Parents Information - All you need to know about Westland in one spot!

 

Prospective Parents Coffee – On Thursdays, once a month, Ms. Serino will meet with prospective parents for an informational coffee and conversation. The sessions will typically run from 8:00 am until 10:15 am, unless otherwise stated. If you are interested in participating please RSVP using the sign-up links below.  If you have questions please contact the main office.

(Note - if MCPS schools are closed or on a 2 hour delay, the event will be cancelled for that month.)

The Prospective Parents Coffee Sign Up Form will allow you to indicate your child’s interest in shadowing. 

 

 Homework Free Weekends or Breaks

This school year we are designating five homework-free weekends and breaks.  No assignments can be due:

 

Dec. 2 (after Thanksgiving)

Jan 2 (after winter break)

Feb 18 (after Presidents Weekend)

Apr 14 (after spring break)

 

Nothing can be due the first day back from these weekends/breaks even if the assignment had been announced in advance as a long-term project.  Reading assignments ARE allowed.
