Westland Middle School appreciates our volunteers.

For the safety of our students, MCPS requires all regular volunteers to complete an online training on Recognizing the Signs of Child Abuse and Neglect. This SUPPORT GUIDE may be of help as you navigate to the online training. You will need your ParentVUE username and password to access the training.

Parents/Guardians who are interested in chaperoning the Grade 6 Outdoor Education Program in May, 2024 - or chaperoning an extended day field trip will need to complete additional requirements.

• Prospective Chaperones for Outdoor Education will be provided with a link to a Google Form for review by the MCPS Background Screening Office.
• Chaperones will need to have fingerprints taken as well.
• A document of Frequently Asked Questions regarding chaperoning and volunteering can be accessed online HERE.
