PTSA Mulch Fundraiser

The Watkins Mill High School PTSA will be holding its Mulch Sale Saturday, March 25th, 2023. All proceeds support Watkins Mill High School and the surrounding community. We are proud to partner with local garden center Grey Goose Farm to offer Master Gardener double shredded hardwood mulch (3 cu ft) at $5.50 per bag. Come pick up your order at the school on March 25th from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM rain or shine. Any order of 10 bags or more gets FREE delivery within a 5-mile radius of WMHS. Play: Noises Off (January 26-28 at 7:00 sharp!)

Come out and support our Wolverines! Noises Off play begins tonight (Thursday, Jan. 26) and goes until 01/28/2023. The play starts at 7:00pm sharp, so come a little early to the school auditorium. Community Announcement from Principal

We wish you a great start to the new year. This is to inform you of recent updates to campus protocol related to student behavior. We have observed a spike in students arriving late to class (often returning late from lunch), gathering and socializing in the restrooms, abusing pass privileges, being out of class without permission, and underclassmen leaving the campus property during school hours. Please remember that 9th - 11th graders are not permitted to leave school property during school hours.

Afterschool Activity Bus Update

Effective immediately there will be two after school activity buses, both running at 5:00pm. Our 4:30 bus was not being utilized and the 5:00 bus was overcrowded. If you have students after school, please let them know of this change. Please call the main office if you have any questions.

International Night- Thursday, April 20, 5:30

Please plan on attending this year's International Night on Thursday, April 20th starting at 5:30. Wear authentic clothing from you country to show your pride! More information to come.

2023 Prom for Juniors & Seniors

Juniors and Seniors-mark your calendars for this year's PROM! Friday, April 21, starting at 7:00 pm and ending 11:00 pm. Location: The RIO Marriott. More information regarding tickets and permission slips coming soon!

Family Food Market

Saturday, February 18, at 9:00 am Watkins Mill High School will be hosting the Family Food Market. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to pick-up various food for absolutely no money. Come to Watkins Mill High School and get free groceries for your family!

FREE TUTORING AVAILABLE AT WMHS !

All students are eligible for free tutoring. Tutors will be working to help students recover from learning loss that occurred during the pandemic. Tutoring is available for all subjects. We offer highly qualified tutors in Math, English, Science, Social Studies and Technology, World Languages, etc. Small tutoring groups led by MCPS teachers with no more than 5 students in each tutoring session for a more personalized experience. International Fair Committee

Ms. Flores is seeking donations of new or gently used cultural costumes. If you have a cultural dress or outfit from any country that you want to donate please send them with your student to the main office. Apply Online for Free and Reduced-Price Meals Benefits. Families of students who may qualify for free or reduced-price meals can now apply for assistance for school meals.
