Parking Permits

Attention Student Drivers When students return to In-Person Instruction, parking permits will be available at no charge. If you plan on driving to school, all cars must have a registered parking permit. Free Homework Help Service Now Available, a new, free student online tutoring and homework help service, is now available in any subject for students in grades 3-12. is a secure, online resource easily accessible through MCPS student Canvas and StudentVUE accounts and offers on-demand assistance. The service provides assistance that aligns with the MCPS curriculum, including knowledge of new curriculum tools being implemented. The service maintains rigorous standards providing high-quality, diverse tutors, screened for excellence (including a criminal background check). SAT (11th grade) Opportunity on 4/13/21

Montgomery County Public Schools is planning to offer SAT School Day for Grade 11 students. As part of a comprehensive strategy to open access and opportunity for all students, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) provides important college readiness examinations to all students. This includes offering the SAT during the school day for Grade 11 students on Tuesday April 13, 2021 (make-up date April 27, 2021). Not only does this approach allow greater access to these important examinations, but it supports efforts to remove barriers associated with college entrance examinations and ensures equitable access to these important steps to college and career readiness. Parent Club

Our Community Based Youth program (SCYS/YMHA) would like to invite you to our PARENT CLUB. At our Parent CLUB meetings, you should expect to have an open environment where we will discuss different ways of working with your children during these difficult times. Meetings will be the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 6:30pm-8pm - the first meeting will be Monday, February 8th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Chromebook/Materials Distribution at WMHS

Chromebooks are available for pick up or exchange Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am -3:00 pm in the auditorium lobby. ○ Textbooks and other classroom materials are available for pick up M-W-F from 9:00am - 3:00pm in the auditorium lobby. ■ Ask your teachers if instructional materials/ textbooks are for their classes. If so, come to the auditorium lobby to receive your materials. Bring your schedule with you. ○ MiFi pickup must be pre-approved. Contact your counselor for approval. ONE MiFi per household only.
