Math Help Now Available!

Do you need help with your homework or just a question about how to do something in math? Too busy to see your teacher? Now you can do this virtually. Submit a picture (attach) of your homework question. A teacher will respond to you via email and make the work available for all students. ¿Necesitas ayudas con tu tarea, o tienes alguna pregunta sobre cómo hacer algo en matemáticas? ¿Estás muy ocupado para ir donde tu profesor(a) para que te ayude? Ahora puedes hacer esto virtualmente. Envía tu foto (adjúntala) con la pregunta sobre tu tarea. Un(a) profesor(a) te responderá vía correo electrónico y pondrá disponible el trabajo para todos los estudiantes. Escanea el código QR para que te lleve al formulario de Google.

Preschool lab is now enrolling students for next school year

This unique program provides a quality educational experience for preschool children and high school students who are eager to work and learn together. Children who are 3 and 4 years old are eligible to participate in the Preschool Lab Program during the 2023-2024 school year. Children must be toilet trained to participate. Please complete the attached application and forward the application along with a $100.00 Non-refundable deposit to: (Checks should be made payable to Watkins Mill High School). For Juniors & Seniors- The Job Fair is coming to WMHS!

Learn about options for immediate, full-time employment, technical/alternate education, apprenticeships and more. See Flyer for more information! WED. MARCH 29, 2023 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Seniors will go during homeroom and Juniors will go during 4th period with their class. The fair will be open to all Juniors and Seniors during STEP.

Rock the Block is coming back to Watkins Mill!

The event will take place on Saturday June 3rd from 3-6pm. Rock the Block allows us to bring together community stakeholders, including school personnel, parents, community resources, and local business owners to celebrate unity and show Montgomery Village the progress and development that Watkins Mill High School is experiencing. This is a free family day of fun for all ages. All families within the community will be invited to attend this mini carnival like experience. If you are interested in promoting your group or organization at Rock The Block, please contact Kristina Smyrk (Kristina_A_Smyrk@mcpsmd.org). Ways to promote your organization are performing, having a table, or creating some sort of activity that the community can engage in. All ideas and questions are welcome 🙂! See attached FLYER

Afterschool Activity Bus Update

Effective immediately there will be two after school activity buses, both running at 5:00pm. Our 4:30 bus was not being utilized and the 5:00 bus was overcrowded.

International Night- Thursday, April 20, 5:30

Please plan on attending this year's International Night on Thursday, April 20th starting at 5:30. Wear authentic clothing from you country to show your pride and get SSL hours! Please see flyer for all information (English and Espanol)

2023 Prom

PROM! Friday, April 21, starting at 7:00 pm and ending 11:00 pm. Location: The RIO Marriott. More information regarding tickets and permission slips coming soon! If you have a prom dress that you want to donate, bring it to the Media Center!

Saturday, March 18, at 9:00 am Watkins Mill High School will be hosting the Family Food Market. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to pick-up various food for absolutely no money. Come to Watkins Mill High School and get free groceries for your family!

FREE TUTORING AVAILABLE AT WMHS !

All students are eligible for free tutoring. Tutors will be working to help students recover from learning loss that occurred during the pandemic. Tutoring is available for all subjects. Please see FLYER for all tutoring options!
