We are changing the date of our Halloween parade and party to THURSDAY, October 28th because of rain in the upcoming forecast. We hope that you can join us at 2:15pm for the parade.

Halloween Parade & Party Information

The parade will start at 2:15PM and the classroom parties will start immediately after the parade at approximately 2:40PM. Parents wanting to watch the parade will stay outside along the parade route. Facemasks are strongly encouraged for parents and visitors attending the outdoor parade.  Parents will be assigned designated areas by grade level along the parade route.  Please go to this designated area in order to promote social distancing.  If you have children in multiple grades, please select one area for the parade.

• Costumes:

• Children who choose to wear costumes for the parties and parade should bring their costumes, not wear them to school.  They will have time to change prior to the parade. Students will not receive assistance with changing into costumes. Families should send any costumes that can easily be put on top of their clothing. 

• No pretend weapons or super scary costumes are permitted.

• Alternative Activity:

• Children who will not participate in the parade or classroom parties are welcome to  join the alternative activities with designated staff.  We will plan to have several alternative activity options for students including the media center, outdoor activity, and/or gym activities.  

• Parents will contact their child’s teacher directly if they prefer the alternate activity.
