TPMS Magnet Program

December 05 2022 Update

Hello Magnet Families. This update is a little late as I was out of the building last week and am still catching up.  I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday and are looking forward to Winter break right around the corner.  Shout out to Nathan Leitan who has started a STEM newsletter (see link in image above). Lots of exciting things are in the works, as you can see below.  In addition to the math contests, we have a new drone club starting, a STEAM night is being planned, and much much more.  Don't forget that this Wednesday is an early dismissal day as well.

Math Contests

Do you enjoy solving challenging math problems?  Here are two great opportunities!  Registrations for the AMC8 Math Competition (Tuesday 1/17) and Math Kangaroo (Thursday 3/16) are now open.  If you are not familiar with these contests, please visit the websites and try some sample problems to decide if participation is an appropriate challenge for you.AMC8 Information
