September 25 2022 Update

Fall has finally begun and it feels like we are settling into good routines here at TPMS. Last week, we had try outs for our award-winning Math-Counts team (led by Ms. Manchester), and all students took the MAP Math test. (Make-ups for tests will be in October). This week we have an ice-cream social for all 7th and 8th graders and I hope you can attend. In this update, I've provided some information about the MAP test, links to our afterschool activity page, and a link to a website with cool math puzzles for you or your kids.

Congressional App Challenge

Do you like to code?

Create an app on any topic and platform they choose. Participation is extremely easy! Students do not need to submit a finished app to the challenge.

Additional information about the competition can be found on our website. The deadline for students to register and submit their app online is 12:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
