    • Ask before you leave the gym 
    • Always be a good sport 
    • Follow the rules of the game 
    • Always stay alert 
    • No eating in the gym unless you have permission
    • Stop, look, and listen when you hear a triple whistle 

    Meet Your Teachers 

    Mr. Barry Duvall

    Hello, I’m Mr. Duvall and I’m the physical education teacher at Stedwick elementary school.  Born and raised in Montgomery Village, I’m a graduate of Watkins Mill high school where I played football and ran track.  I earned a BS in Elementary Education at Towson State University, where I ran a little track and played rugby.  I have taught third and fifth grade in MCPS as well as computer science.  But my heart has always been in fitness and sports.  My program follows the MCPS curriculum and revolves around teaching students the skills they need to be physically fit and active.  I have an open door policy, so feel free to come in and see how a class runs.  Just make sure to check in in the office first.
