While the South Lake building is under construction, we have moved to the Emory Grove Optimal Learning Center. Here is what you need to know:

  • Emory Grove Address: 18100 Washington Grove Ln, Gaithersburg, MD 20877

  • New School Hours: 9:25am - 3:50pm (Breakfast begins at 9:10am)
  • Transportation: All students will either be a bus or car rider. 
  • Information: Our students have been participating in daily questions and answers about our transition to our holding school. Check out the information HERE. These slides are updated each day.

If you need to apply for food stamps / SNAP, please fill out THIS FORM and a staff member from DHHS will contact you in the next 2 days. Make sure to answer all the questions.

MCAP Information Letter (English | Spanish)

The Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) assessments of Maryland College and Career Ready Standards (MCCRS) will build a pathway to college and career readiness by the end of high school, mark students’ progress toward this goal from grade 3 through high school, and provide teachers with timely information to inform instruction and provide student support.

The MSDE website hosts all of the tools necessary to prepare for and administer MCAP assessments.
