National History Day Judges Needed
As part of the seventh-grade Global Humanities curriculum, students are required to submit a National History Day (NHD) project for the school competition. This year's theme is Frontiers in History: People, Places, and Ideas. Students will select a topic on any aspect of local, regional, national, or world history that directly relates to this year's theme. Our school competition will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We are looking for 15 judges to assist with evaluating students' projects using the NHD scoring rubric. Students will be entering the competition in one of five categories. These categories include documentary, exhibit, paper, performance, and website. If you are interested in being a judge, please contact Mr. Blanc or Ms. Chichester at the email addresses below by Wednesday, Jan. 4th. Please note, if your child(ren) is/are in the competition, you will not be allowed to be a judge in that category.
