Spirit Week

Spirit Week is held 2-3 times a year:  In the Fall leading up to Homecoming, in the Winter during the last week of January, and in the Spring prior to Spring Break. The week-long activities, which culminate in a pep rally, are sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA).

Each day is designated as a special occasion to celebrate school spirit by wearing specific apparel. For example, one day could be "Blast from the Past, "another might be "Twin Day," "Hawaiian Day," or "Class Colors." Other activities may include contests and charity drives.

Spring Spirit Week also includes an evening of basketball competition pitting classes against one another, with the winner challenging the staff for the championship. The week culminates with Clash of the Classes, in which a series of challenges is presented to students such as relay races, pie eating contests, tug of war, or other games.
