Literacy Curriculum - Benchmark Advance 2022

Elementary students in Montgomery County receive their reading and writing instruction from Benchmark Advance 2018. Rosemary Hills is one of 12 schools piloting the new Benchmark Advance 2022. This is a structured literacy program which is standards-aligned and informed by the Science of Reading research. Units empower students to engage deeply with a topic to build skills within and across grades. Topics are knowledgebased, expanding both general and academic vocabulary in support of reading, writing, and constructive conversation.
