Media Center
Overview
Rosemary Hills Elementary School Media Center services approximately 500 students from Pre-K to 2nd grade and all staff members. We have an extensive collection of materials for the primary aged student. It is the home to over 13,000 read alouds, chapter books, magazines, references, and professional resources.

Vision
The RHES Media Center is an integral part of the total instructional program. We provide students and staff with the skills necessary to function effectively in a global society. We are a resource for information technologies, books, materials, and equipment to assist students and staff in their pursuit of ideas and information.

Book Exchange
Kindergarten classes come to the library weekly to browse and exchange books. All classes come to the library weekly for book exchange. Students must return their books in order to borrow other books.

Lessons
In the media center, students learn information literacy skills. In the spring, the media center sponsors a Black-Eyed Susan reading promotion. Students read the book nominees and vote for their favorite book.
