We will be taking the month of December off from Intramurals but will be starting Cheerleading Intramurals on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting January 5th. We will be practicing cheers and a routine for half-time performances for a Girls Basketball game and a Boys Basketball game in February, so students who are interested should be able to commit to attending practices on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Students wishing to participate will need to have an Intramural Permission Slip turned in to Ms. Brouillard prior to participating and be academically eligible for Quarter 1. Got questions, or need a permission slip? See Ms. Brouillard or Ms. Hardie.
3v3 Basketball will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from February 21st - March 2nd and will be open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have turned in an intramural permission slip and are academically eligible for Quarter 2. We will be having 2 "divisions": a 6th/7th grade division, and a 7th/8th grade division. Need a permission slip or got questions? See Ms. Brouillard!

Intramural Permission Slip (.pdf) [Updated 8/6/19]
Intramurals are an extension of our Physical Education program and are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Days and times of intramurals are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 3:00-4:20pm. Students can get home by riding one of the activity buses provided, or may be picked up by a parent/guardian no later than 4:20. There is no cost to participate in intramurals, but students must turn in an Intramural Parent Permission Slip before participating (one permission slip covers all intramurals for the entire year). Intramurals offered this year are activities like Archery, Tennis/Pickleball, Dodgeball, Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, Flag Football, 3v3 Basketball, and Cheerleading. These activities will occur during various times throughout the year. Specific dates for each intramural can be found on the Intramurals & Athletics Calendar link listed below. Any questions regarding intramurals may be directed to Ms. Melanie Brouillard at 240-740-6670 or via email at Melanie_J_Brouillard@mcpsmd.org.
