Montgomery County is holding their 11th annual Respect Fest event on Sunday March 29th at the Wheaton Recreation Center from 1 to 4 pm. Respect fest gives students in high school and middle school an opportunity to learn about dating violence and respectful relationships. The event will include free food, raffle prizes, games, presentations, and more. Respect fest will also be holding a video contest. Students are invited to submit a 60 second video that raises awareness about dating violence. Winning videos will be showcased at the Respect fest event. The top three videos will be awarded as follows: 1st place $1,000, 2nd place $750, and 3rd place $500. For more information on contest rules inquire in the counseling office or click here.
