Support
Ms. Greif, our School Counselor, supports the social and emotional development of our students. Her program includes classroom guidance at each grade level, individual counseling for students, small group counseling for students, and sponsorship of school programs.
Ms. Fanazad and Ms. Ross, our Special Education Resource Teachers, support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). They work with students in their resource rooms as well as in the students' classrooms.
Ms. Alexander, our Reading Specialist, supports students as they construct meaning in reading and provides information about reading strategies to parents to support reading development at home. She provides professional learning to staff around reading concepts, strategies, and best practices.
Ms. Miller, our Staff Development Teacher and Math Representative, provides professional learning to staff on a variety of topics, including mathematics. She provides information to parents regarding math strategies to support learning at home.
Ms. Orlando, our ELD Teacher, works with students who are learning English as an additional language. These Emergent Multilingual Learners (EMLs) work to build their reading, speaking, listening and writing skills in English.
Ms. Roth, our Speech/Language Pathologist, works with students who have significant needs in understanding and using language, producing sounds, and/or with social language skills.
