8th Grade Promotion- Student Photo Request!
PHOTO SUBMISSION DEADLINE is Friday, June 9, 2023

8th grade Promotion will be upon us quickly in June.  One of the fun traditions we have at RMS during our promotion ceremony is to have a slideshow picture presentation of our 8th graders as a baby or young child alongside a current picture. In order to make this a successful presentation, please email Ms. Hines two pictures, one picture of your student as a baby or young child and one current photo. 
Below is a list of requirements to provide the best representation:

  • Email only 2 school appropriate photos to Mrs. Hines.

  • Deadline for photos is June 9th to ensure time to make changes to the presentation.

  • Have the 2 photos include your student ONLY and not a group photo

  • Some photos will need to be cropped to fit the template in the slideshow.

  • Check your email for a receipt of photos from Ms. Hines.

  • If your student doesn't want a photo in the presentation, inform Ms. Hines.

  • Contact Ms. Hines with any questions

The 8th Grade field trip to Adventure Park is Monday, June 12

Here is the link to the online permission form. Students can also get permission forms from Ms. Hines or the Main Office. The cost is $40 (online payment preferred) and is due with the permission form by Wednesday, June 7.

8th Grade Promotion-Tuesday, June 13, 2023

8th Grade Families: The 2023 8th grade Promotion Ceremony will be Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Quince Orchard High School. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. A ticket is needed to attend the promotion ceremony. Please follow this link to enter information regarding tickets. Due to the limited seating at Quince Orchard High School, each student will be assigned three (3) guest promotion tickets. The form will ask about the
number of tickets you need and other important information. Please complete the online form no later than Thursday, May 25, 2023. If you do not need all three tickets, we kindly ask that you return extras by dropping them off or by having your child bring them to the Main Office by Tuesday, June 6th. This will allow us to give extra tickets to families who really need them. Extra tickets will be distributed by a lottery system. Please do not email or call in regards to extra promotion tickets. You will be notified if you have won the lottery for extra tickets.
