Safety and privacy
There have been reports nationwide of Zoom “hacking,” and students displaying inappropriate content during virtual check-ins. In order to create a safe environment for students, MCPS has taken several additional preventative measures to tighten virtual classroom security, consistent with recent recommended safeguards by law enforcement.

Here is an update for accessing Zoom for conferencing 4/3/20
Chromebooks
Any child who is still in need of a Chromebook should contact their principal directly. The schools will be connecting with their specific communities over the next couple of days to determine who is still in need of a device.. They will then provide instructions on how a family can obtain a device at some point next week.
Parents can also use this form to submit a specific question for their school.
