New SSL Opportunity!

TeenWorks Event! Check out the attached Flyer!

Montgomery County Recreation's workforce development program, TeenWorks, is looking for Montgomery County High School students who want to gain experience working with youth in recreational settings after school. These Youth Development programs include: Excel Beyond the Bell Elementary, Excel Beyond the Bell Middle, and RecZone (in 4 high schools). There is also a Special Events & Outreach Team, and an Environmental Conservation Team for various weeknight and weekend opportunities. The program starts students as TeenWorks Volunteers. With initiative and hard work, Volunteers may have the opportunity to interview for a paid position. (Paid positions are not guaranteed though.) Students will receive SSL hours to match each of their volunteer service hours (1:1).
