Mr. Carothers End of the School Year Message
Hello, Poolesville Students, Staff, and Parents,
Good afternoon. This week is the final week of the school year. I thank you for all of your support, hard work, flexibility, and understanding this year. Even with the school closure, it has been a wonderful year and I am grateful for our students, staff, and communities. As a reminder, students will be assigned a Pass or Incomplete for the Fourth Marking Period, and the semester grade will be based on the students’ selections on the MCPS survey. Regardless of the grade shown in the gradebook, students will only be assigned a Pass or Incomplete for Marking Period Four.
On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, students will be able retrieve any personal items left in the school building and return any textbooks, athletic uniforms, and other school supplies. We will also be collecting Chromebooks from seniors only. Seniors will also have the opportunity to pick up their diplomas if they have no obligations. If seniors are unable to come, their diplomas will be mailed to their homes. Please see below for the schedule and complete details at this LINK.
