Dear Parents and Guardians, Please take a moment to read through and complete the attached information as it pertains to providing consent for your student to use Google's G Suite Additional Services and online digital tools (ODTs).
 
  1. Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) requires consent from parents/guardians (or eligible students) to provide high school students with access to Google’s G Suite Additional Services as part of their individual student accounts. Please complete this form and submit. Consent remains valid for the entire time the student is enrolled in an MCPS high school, so this form only needs to be completed once during high school. It may be rescinded at any time. If you do not return the form, we will assume your child is NOT permitted to use the Additional Services: https://forms.gle/E8BFazt9poL6oQXX7. 
 
  1. Northwood High School teachers may utilize a variety of supplemental online digital tools to reinforce the district’s instructional program. In the list below, you will find supplemental tools that may be used by Northwood High School's teachers. These tools have been evaluated to be safe for student use and are consistent with federal laws on student data privacy. A full list is available here: http://bit.ly/NHSodts Northwood High School requests your consent to allow your student to use the supplemental tools listed above, as these tools may collect personally identifiable student information, such as first and last name, classroom teacher, or grade level. This information is typically collected by online digital tools to enable use of the tool and to track student progress. Please complete this form each school year: bit.ly/nhsODTconsent
