Proposed Framework for Return of Students to In-person Instruction

Last Wednesday parents received a short survey asking them to indicate whether their child will remain exclusively in a virtual learning environment, or engage in a combination of in-person and virtual instruction. The Family Preference Survey is available on the MCPS website, and all families are asked to complete the survey by Thursday, December 3. MCPS has also prepared a Family Learning Guide to Help Determine Learning Preferences that is available on the MCPS website as well.

Collecting Photographs for the Yearbook
The students in our yearbook classes are working hard to publish a yearbook this year and will be periodically collecting pictures to make that possible. Currently the students are seeking pictures of quarantine pets, workouts, summer fun, home workspaces, arts and crafts, how students are supporting sports teams, school/class spirit, and at-home fashion trends. If you would like to submit one or more photographs, please follow the directions in the “News” section of the Northwest website (Submitting Pictures for Yearbook). Please make sure that all photographs include only members of your household, and please note that we will not be able to use all photographs that are submitted. Information about ordering yearbooks will be shared later this semester.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for your support of Northwest, and have a great evening!
