Senior Class of 2021 Important Information: February 2021

Caps and Gown Sizes Needed for ALL Seniors: Due March 15, 2021

MCPS will be purchasing caps and gowns for all seniors this year, and students will receive them in early June.  In order to make sure we order the appropriate size for each senior, please complete the Cap and Gown Size Information Form no later than Monday, March 15.  If you already paid for a cap and gown, the money will be refunded to your credit card later this month.  All seniors, including ones who previously ordered, should complete the Cap and Gown Size Information Form.

Ordering Yearbooks: Quantities Limited! 

You can now preorder your yearbook at www.yearbookforever.com. The cost is only $55, but quantities are limited so don't delay!

Senior Parent Meeting Presentation

Tentative Graduation Date: June 9, 2021

Our 2021 commencement ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, at 2:30 pm at the UMBC Event Center.  The UMBC Event Center is located in Catonsville, Maryland, on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.  Please note that this date and location is contingent upon finalization of the contract with the graduation venue, as well as a review of COVID-19 health and safety metrics within Montgomery County and the local government authorities in Catonsville.  MCPS has announced that a decision will be made by April 15 regarding whether or not our graduation ceremony can occur at UMBC with full or limited attendance.  If it is not possible for our graduation ceremony to occur at UMBC, our next option would be to use our stadium.  MCPS has announced that a decision will be made by April 30 if graduation ceremonies will be fully virtual this year based on health and safety metrics.  For more information on the contingency plans, please search for “graduation” on the MCPS website (MCPS Graduation Information).
